Good Faith Estimate Notice
(Your Rights and Protections Against Surprise Billing)

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for services.

Your Rights

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency mental health services.

• You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a session, or at any time during your care.

• If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

• Be sure to keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.

• Standard 50-minute session: $125
